Two Japanese designers have created Bright Blinds, which are blinds to be hung on blank walls to give the appearance of a window behind them. Electroluminescent sheeting is what simulates the daylight, and the amount of light emitted is controlled via the same methods as traditional blinds. Kinda cool if you as me, but I'm sure you'd look pretty silly if you were a secret agent looking for a quick escape out that window.
