In a stupefying turn of events that shocked everyone, Marvel has alread finalized plans for a sequel to its $201 million dollar cash cow Iron Man, and Robert Downey Jr. has again signed on to star. Tough luck, Frank Stallone.
Kevin Feige, head of production for Marvel Studios, said much of Iron Man's success was down to Downey Jr. "It's great to see a sold-out audience that you know is made up of comic book fans and people who had never read an Iron Man comic in their life," he said. [BBC]
Damn, he's already the biggest star in Hollywood, and Tropic Thunder, his blackface debut, hasn't even come out yet (it opens in August). In related news, I sometimes walk around in blackface to avoid being recognized by my millions of adoring fans. Or as I like to call it, incognegro.
