Numbers Confirm: Speed Racer Was Born To Suck

I tried watching the beginning of Speed Racer yesterday, and thank god I have the mind to trim my fingernails instead of force myself to watch that heaping load of shit. The initial box office results put it at (suprising to me,) second place, narrowly beating "What Shits In Vegas."


Turns out, those figures were based on studio estimates. Revised figures were released today show that Speed Racer actually bombed even worse than that. Originally listed in the number two spot with $20.2 million, it was downgraded to third with $18.6 million. But it's okay, Speed Racer, no matter what place you're in, I'll always think of you as a big number two. YAY!
